HVAC Field Service TechnicianBring your energy to Aggreko as HVAC Field Service Technician based in Atlanta (Lithonia), GA.You'll perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, testing, and commissioning of Aggreko power generation and HVAC equipment. This role supports both shop and field operations by ensuring equipment is safe, reliable, and ready for customer deployment while adhering to Aggreko's safety, quality, and operational standards.Power without pause. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades.What you'll do:You'll be based out of our Lithonia, GA. service center and can expect to work in the field with local travel daily in your company vehicleYou'll have an opportunity to work overtime and weekends, and there is a potential for travelPerform preventive maintenance and repairs of power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, Chillers, HVAC equipment and/or oil free air compressorsTroubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations, and handle the repairsYou will either be out on your own or teamed up with another technician(s) to set up and operate equipment at the shop and on customer sitesYou are:High School diploma/GED4+ years of experience working on diesel power/natural gas generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, chillers, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairsExperience with calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, along with reading and knowing schematicsBased on the customer requirements, you may be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical cardValid driver's licenseAbility to move or lift objects, typically less than 50 lbs.Here's what you'll get:Full-time with potential for overtime and/or weekendsAnnual bonus programNo premium cost medical plan option availableRobust technical training programs, in person and virtual, on diesel, gas, compressed air, electrical, controls, oil free air compressors, HVAC, microgrid & storage and moreCareer growth opportunities and tuition reimbursement available, safety-focused culture working on brand new technologyOther essential job requirementsAvailability to work the assigned schedule, travel to work locations (if needed) and be on standby for work outside of regularly scheduled shiftsMust be able to stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time; and be able to walk over uneven terrain with functional balance that does not require any special assistive devicesMust be able to move the extremities and spine through a functional range of motion that will permit work to be safely performed from ground / floor level to full overhead levelMust have good finger dexterity to manipulate small items, functional hand-eye coordination, and functionally grip with adequate strength to safely hold tools and stair railing or laddersMust be able to safely meet the physical demands outlined in the Essential Physical Capacities Assessment and pass the post-offer physical abilities assessment, which includes being able to lift (60 lbs.), push/pull (80 lbs.), carry (60 lbs.), climb stairs and ladders as well as a combination of climbing while carrying objects (15 lbs.), stoop, kneel and squatOur people are can-do, positive, resilient, and persistent.
