Local Planning & Dispatch
South Hills Movers | Bethel Park, PA | Full-Time
South Hills Movers is a 101-year-old, family-owned Pittsburgh company and one of the region’s leading moving companies. We're looking for an organized, dependable; Local Planning & Dispatcher to keep our local operations running smoothly.

- Plan and coordinate daily local moving schedules and crew assignments.
- Dispatch crews, drivers, and equipment efficiently.
- Communicate with customers, crews, drivers, and internal departments.
- Monitor moves throughout the day and adjust schedules as needed.
- Track and help ensure compliance with drivers' Hours of Service (HOS) requirements.
- Assist with day-to-day transportation and operational safety, helping ensure drivers and crews follow company safety procedures.
- Resolve scheduling and operational issues quickly and professionally.
- Help ensure crews have the information and resources needed to complete each move successfully.
- Maintain accurate schedules, job information, and driver records.
- Help maximize truck and crew efficiency while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
- Comfortable working with computers and learning new systems.
- Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, moving, or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with driver Hours of Service and transportation safety requirements is a plus.
- Competitive compensation based on experience. Listed Pay Rate is negotiable.
