Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Description:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with 3 years of experience in a large volume Emergency Department with high acuity patients. This role involves providing care in a Level III trauma center, dealing with a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics.

Responsibilities:

Administer medications and manage medication drips using barcode scanning.
Perform triage and assist with trauma and code cases.
Administer blood products and set up chest tubes and arterial lines.
Assist with the management of BiPAP/vents and understand ESI.
Perform splinting and work effectively in an environment with high patient turnover.

Requirements:

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC certifications required.
Triage experience and ability to pass the hospital's Triage Test.
Experience with pediatric emergency medicine is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Epic EMR system and Point of Care Labs is a plus.
