Key Responsibilities

• Employ radiographic and CT techniques to capture exquisite diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Work in tandem with radiologists and the clinical team to facilitate correct diagnoses
• Ensure precise patient positioning and optimal equipment calibration for imaging tasks
• Implement safety protocols concerning radiation exposure for both patients and staff
• Keep thorough records, including imaging logs and equipment status
• Deliver compassionate patient care throughout the imaging process
• Foster a secure, organized, and effective imaging environment

Education Prerequisites

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
• Successful completion of an accredited radiology program

Essential Certifications

• ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography)
• Current BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days of hiring

Preferred Skills

• Knowledgeable in diagnostic imaging practices and safety principles
• Strong communication abilities with patients and interdisciplinary teams
