Cardiovascular Key Account Manager, Oklahoma City, OK

Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager in Oklahoma City to develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned health systems. The role involves managing relationships with clinical and administrative decision-makers, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving utilization of Amgen's cardiovascular portfolio while ensuring compliance.
Responsibilities
- Assess assigned accounts' business environment and execute strategic plans aligned to cardiovascular business unit goals
- Develop comprehensive account plans addressing institutional needs, access barriers, and implementation requirements
- Meet regularly with clinical opinion leaders, pharmacy, and P&T committees to build relationships and gather intelligence
- Coordinate pull-through initiatives across field teams to drive appropriate utilization of cardiovascular products
- Present compliant data and market insights to internal stakeholders and customers; monitor portfolio performance and market dynamics
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years sales/account management experience, or Master's with 4+ years, or Doctorate with 2+ years
- 3+ years account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred
- Cardiology experience including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes highly preferred
- Knowledge of hospital committee structure, P&T process, reimbursement, and CMS policies
- Understanding of internal/external dynamics in dyslipidemia and heart failure care settings
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with sales teams to resolve payor-related issues
