Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Erie, PA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Rotating Day/Night shifts, 4 × 12-hour shifts per week.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse - Telemetry position involves providing comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients with various conditions including chest pain, abnormal heart rhythms, stroke rule outs, and more. Responsibilities include administering medications, performing EKG interpretations, and managing patients before and after procedures such as heart catheterizations, cystoscopies, and colonoscopies.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care in a telemetry setting with a ratio of 1:5 to 1:6.
• Administer medications and titrate anti-arrhythmic drips as necessary.
• Perform blood administration and cardioversion procedures.
• Provide patient assessments and monitor vital signs consistently.
• Interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license with relevant clinical experience in telemetry.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and participate in floating as needed.
• Compliance with flu and COVID vaccination requirements, with accepted medical or religious declinations.
