Relocation Assistance and per diem available for qualified candidates.As a scaffold erector, you will check the site conditions and install scaffolding systems in a safe and orderly manner in accordance with OSHA standards. Additional responsibilities may include scaffold racking and stacking, scaffolding handling in a chain line, loading and unloading scaffolding from the truck, and/or scaffold inventory.Job Type: Full-time, hourlyRequired experience: Three years (3) experience as a scaffold erectorRequirements:Must be at least 18 years' oldExperience working in a physically demanding environment, confined spaces and working at heightsUnderstand and carry out verbal directions given by supervisorUnderstand and obey all posted warning, caution, notification and/or hazards signs posted on a job siteMust be able to lift 70 lbs. without assistanceForklift training/certification a plus (additional training will be required once hired for those using a forklift)Must be able to climb and work at elevated heights, 50+ feetAll candidates must submit to drug testing and E-Verification of their right to work in the USA criminal background check may be requiredReliable transportation a mustNo overtime is guaranteed, but some projects do require overtime. This could be more than 40 hours during the normal Monday Friday work week, work on the weekends or both. Some projects do have a night shift.
