What You'll Do

As an RVT, you'll play an essential role in patient care and client education while working closely with our veterinarians and support staff.

Responsibilities include:

* Placing IV catheters and administering medications and treatments
* Collecting blood, urine, and other diagnostic samples
* Performing venipuncture confidently and efficiently
* Placing endotracheal tubes and assisting with anesthetic induction and recovery
* Monitoring anesthesia during surgical and dental procedures
* Taking and processing diagnostic radiographs
* Performing in-house laboratory testing and diagnostics
* Providing nursing care for hospitalized patients
* Educating clients on medications, preventative care, and treatment plans
* Maintaining accurate medical records and treatment notes
* Assisting with patient admissions and discharges
* Helping create a positive experience for both patients and clients

What We're Looking For

* Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license
* *2-3 years of veterinary technician experience preferred*
* Strong technical skills, including anesthesia monitoring, IV catheter placement, venipuncture, and patient nursing care
* Excellent communication and client service skills
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
* Commitment to teamwork and exceptional patient care
