Your Next Opportunity:

As a Senior Preconstruction Manager at Rosendin, you will lead the charge in defining the scope and strategy for complex electrical construction projects from concept to award. You will drive innovation and value engineering, ensuring competitive and accurate proposals that lay the foundation for successful project delivery. What You'll Do:

• Lead comprehensive preconstruction efforts for large-scale, complex electrical projects, including design-build, design-assist, and competitive bid pursuits.
• Direct and mentor preconstruction teams, fostering professional growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality estimates and proposals.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact during the preconstruction phase, presenting proposals, and negotiating contracts.
• Conduct in-depth constructability reviews, value engineering analyses, and risk assessments to optimize project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Operations, Engineering, and field teams to ensure seamless project transitions and alignment with execution strategies.
• Utilize advanced estimating software and techniques to prepare detailed, accurate, and competitive cost proposals for diverse electrical systems and installations.
• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and contractual documents to identify scope gaps, opportunities, and potential risks, developing mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Rosendin's preconstruction processes, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop preconstruction professionals.
• Deep technical expertise in electrical construction methods, materials, systems, and relevant codes (e.g., NEC).
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex preconstruction projects concurrently, meeting stringent deadlines and quality standards.
• Advanced proficiency with industry-standard estimating software (e.g., Accubid, McCormick, LiveCount) and construction management platforms.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences, including clients and executives.
• Strategic mindset with a focus on value engineering, risk mitigation, and innovative problem-solving.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, effectively bridging communication between office, field, and client teams.

What You Bring to Us:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical preconstruction or estimating, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior role.
• Demonstrated experience leading preconstruction efforts for complex, large-scale electrical projects.
• Certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
• Expert knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical construction practices, labor units, and market conditions across various regions.

Travel:

• Up to 25% travel to project sites, client offices, and industry events may be required.

Working Conditions:

• Work primarily performed in an office environment, with occasional visits to active construction sites, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions, loud noise, and uneven surfaces.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.
• May be required to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• When on construction sites, must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by site safety regulations.
