Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual needs and create personalized therapy strategies to help clients achieve their daily living objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based interventions to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive functions, and self-care activities
• Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with other OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive care
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide instruction to patients and their caregivers on therapy practices to ensure sustained improvement outside of sessions
• Document Progress: Monitor clinical progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure patient goals are met

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Continuing education and advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
