And we invest in our world-class team, empowering our colleagues to unpack their potential, because we believe when our people grow, so does our business.Job DescriptionPurpose:The Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading and motivating the production team to exceed goals and monitoring the day-to-day production activities to ensure that production efficiency goals are being met, safety protocols are being followed, and quality product is being produced. Directly supervises 20 - 30 hourly employees. Plans and controls production performance as measured against operating targets developed according to machine capabilities, manpower capabilities and projected business. Ensures compliance to established customer quality and production standards. Actively leads and participates in plant safety, housekeeping, 5S and lean manufacturing programs by ensuring goals are met within the department. Ensures completion of all required paperwork, schedules, work orders, etc.Responsibilities:Address mechanical, operation, and technical downtime issues within departmentTrain, motive and mentor employeesSupervisor employees in the day-to-day operations to ensure safety, quality, and productivity.Maintain and improve production throughput and work with the Production Manager to maintain direct labor costsEnsure company policies, quality procedures, and good manufacturing policies are implemented, understood, and followed.Qualifications:A four-year degree is preferred, or equivalent and applicable work-related experienceExperience in Blown Film IndustryA minimum of 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role with a strong background in blown film and Production floor supervisionAbility to work any shift as neededOur ExpectationsWe expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business to win.
