Anesthesiologist Opportunity in Rapid City, SD

Sanford Health and Black Hills Surgical Hospital are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to join our surgical practice in Rapid City, SD. The team is comprised of two Anesthesiologists and twenty-two CRNAs to cover eleven operating rooms in a care team supervision approach. Duties would include a robust regional practice shared between the anesthetists and anesthesiologists, with a devoted Block Nurse running the latest GE ultrasound units, reaching approximately 6000 blocks per year. Oversight of the pre- and post-anesthesia care units and ensuring patients are properly cleared for surgery in conjunction with a pre-anesthesia testing clinic. Collaboration with surgeons and nursing alike on complicated patients, ensuring safe anesthetic delivery. Our practice offers a great work-life balance with flexible shifts and minimal weekend engagement. Call is 1:14 with CRNA first call.
