Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Technician for our supply store who can effectively manage inventory and ensure smooth operations within the warehouse. The position entails working from 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Utilize material handling equipment to manage inbound and outbound shipments, loading and unloading trucks, and picking materials from warehouse racks.

• Operate assigned material handling equipment safely, ensuring all equipment is inspected and in safe operating condition.

• Stock and arrange products to optimize warehouse inventory turnover.

• Conduct cycle counts to determine accurate material quantities.

• Receive materials into inventory, move materials between designated locations, and accurately enter data impacting electronic records.

• Ensure pallets are stable, observe pallet heights, and ensure materials and equipment are not damaged.

• Practice safe material handling techniques.

• Perform housekeeping tasks as assigned.

• Exhibit flexibility to work overtime or weekends as required.

Essential Skills

• Experience using material handling equipment.

• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.

• Strong organizational skills for stocking and arranging products.

• Attention to detail for accurate cycle counting and data entry.

• Ability to practice safe material handling techniques.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Forklift experience is beneficial.

• Comfortable working with taller rolling ladders for product retrieval.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomington, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
