Bring your expertise as a school-based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to an engaging contract opportunity in a supportive educational environment near Katy, TX. This full-time position, with flexible options for those seeking approximately 30 hours per week, serves elementary through high school students in a dynamic district. You’ll primarily be assigned to a single school, with limited need to float to a second campus, and assignment decisions consider your location for maximum convenience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy for students, supporting educational goals for preschool, middle, and high school populations
• Collaborate with supervising SLPs and educational staff to implement individualized treatment plans
• Contribute to documentation, progress reporting, and parent/staff communication
• Utilize AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices; prior AAC experience is highly valued
• Travel between one or two campus locations as assigned
• Manage a caseload that averages around 100 students, adjusted to your experience and special areas of expertise

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active professional SLPA license in Texas
• Recent experience in a school setting, preferably both elementary and secondary levels
• Familiarity with school-based AAC device support
• Ability to complete time-sensitive credentialing, including state fingerprinting and a background check
• Positive references confirming you have not been terminated from previous school district employment
