Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Must have a valid and current Michigan Driver's License
• Must obtain Michigan CDL license with BPS and airbrake endorsement
• Must have an excellent driving record
• Must be able to pass periodic random drug and alcohol testing
• Must be available and able to perform job duties
• Must have good attendance and punctuality records
• Must present a good public appearance in manner and dress
• Must have the ability to communicate with students, parents and school personnel
• On the job training maybe required
• May require lifting
• Must sign a Confidentiality Agreement
• Must sign a Technology Agreement
• Must take and pass a written test and hands on test
• Must be able to pass Michigan School Bus Driver pre-employment physical and drug screen
• Must attend 21 hour of safety classes
