Phlebotomist - Float
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a float phlebotomist to perform blood collections across multiple mid-Michigan locations. The role involves patient interaction, specimen processing, and administrative duties with flexible scheduling and travel between sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Process billing information and collect patient payments
- Prepare specimens for testing and provide customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One or more years of phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification from accredited agency or completed training program
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Pass standardized color blindness test
- At least 21 years old
Compensation: Base pay not specified; $2.00/hr float incentive plus mileage reimbursement, eligible for quarterly performance bonus
