Clinic Manager Job Description The Clinic Manager is responsible for staffing, operations, patient and provider communication at a specified clinic. Provides general direction and support to the clinic staff. Locations: Charleston, Mattoon, Effingham, Tuscola Hours: Full-time/40 hours per week Required: Associate's Degree Pay: Based on experience, starting at $70,158.40 Responsibilities Acts as a resource to staff while fostering an environment of team work and collaboration. Conducts periodic staff/team meetings. Address and resolve patient concerns in a timely and professional manner, promoting a culture of service excellence and patient-centered care. Assists in the development of clinic goals and objectives in support of Health System goals; communicates the same to staff. Monitors the progress of goals and develops programs to ensure that goals are met. Assists staff as needed throughout the day to ensure smooth operations and to ensure that patients' needs are met. Collaborates with Communications Department in the marketing and promotion of medical providers and their practices. Supports outreach efforts, patient education programs and community engagement related to the service line. Consistently uses cascade learning to keep others informed. Demonstrates strong presentation and listening skills. Respects all others and their opinions. Provides timely and constructive feedback. Accepts constructive feedback. Develops and administers staffing schedules to maximize utilization of material and human resources to achieve superior patient/customer service. Approves timecards and time off requests. Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and the rules of accreditation. Focuses on establishing stability and reducing variance in the operations of all departmental functions. Promotes and utilizes Quality Improvement principles and methods to achieve continuously improving departmental services and systems. Responds to appropriate requests and initiatives from Vice Presidents, other Directors and Managers, physicians, and staff to improve services. Management - Responsible for development, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies, procedures, protocols and standards to maintain a high quality level of service. Monitors productivity, patient throughput and coordinates with providers to optimize clinic templates and reduce patient wait times. Provides strategic leadership through development and implementation of service line goals, growth initiatives and performance improvement strategies. Identifies opportunities for service line expansion, partnerships and innovation. Seeks opportunities to incorporate staff in the operations of the clinic. Selects and hires individuals possessing appropriate qualifications and who demonstrate experience, initiative, innovation, self-direction and enthusiasm for their respective roles. Stays current with the clinic’s budgetary variances, justifications, reimbursement issues and collaborates with billing and coding teams to ensure accurate charge capture. Supervises staff and monitors work performance. Completes performance appraisals. Provides recognition for good work performance and documents corrective coaching for substandard work performance. Supervises the day-to-day operations at a specified clinic, including staffing, scheduling, and employee, patient and provider communications. Leads, trains and evaluates front office, back office and clinical support staff. Supports leadership development and succession planning within the service line, ensuring regular communication and collaboration between supervisors, staff and providers. Requirements Associate's Degree (Required) Compensation Estimated Compensation Range $70,158.40 - $108,742.40 Pay based on experience Eligible for participation in Management Incentive Compensation Program.
