We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team in planning, coordinating, and executing projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will help ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to company standards.

The Assistant Project Manager will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to coordinate daily activities, monitor project progress, maintain documentation, and help resolve project-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and overseeing daily project activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain project documents, reports, schedules, and meeting notes.
• Track project progress and communicate updates to management.
• Assist with purchasing, material orders, change orders, and invoice tracking as needed.
• Attend project meetings and follow up on outstanding tasks and action items.
• Identify potential project delays or issues and help develop solutions.
• Ensure work is completed according to company policies, quality standards, and applicable safety requirements.
• Support communication between field personnel, office staff, and project stakeholders.
• Perform additional project coordination and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in project management, project coordination, or a related field preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to read and understand project documents, schedules, and reports.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on project needs.
• Associate's or bachelor's degree in business, construction management, engineering, or a related field is a plus.
