Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Job Description

Become a vital part of a Charleston, SC hospital as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast agents according to protocol, and operate CT equipment for trauma, stroke, emergency room, and inpatient exams. Maintain documentation in Meditech and follow unit policies and scheduling requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

\n

• Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification required.
• Current CPR / BLS certification required.
• SCRQSA certification required.
• Minimum 1 year CT technologist experience in a hospital setting preferred. 1+ years acceptable.
• Experience performing trauma, stroke, emergency department, and inpatient CT exams.
• Experience with GE 64 and GE 128 CT systems preferred.
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

\n

• Previous work in a level I or II trauma center preferred.
• Previous weekend and holiday rotation experience preferred.

Assignment Details

\n

• Shift hours: 0700-1930.
• Scheduling requirements include Friday through Sunday coverage, holidays, and rotating every other weekend in accordance with facility policy.
• Required to work holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
