Assistant Foreman

Our client, a small construction company who installs and finishes sports floors, is seeking a full time Managing Foreman with good leadership qualities.

Position - Assistant Foreman

Job Location - Johnson Creek, WI

Starting Date - ASAP

Employment Type - Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) - 1st Shift

Starting Pay - $25 - $27/HR Depending on Experience

Required Education - High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience - At least 2 years of experience

This hybrid position for an ASSISTANT FOREMAN involves responsibility while providing variety. You will work side by side with the sales and operations manager to coordinate and manage projects with the priority being to work in field with the crew to ensure that every project is completed and meets with our high standard of quality.

Responsibilities

You will be in contact with school's maintenance departments, oversee jobsite preparations, complete miscellaneous reports, photograph completed projects and upload to website or social media if desired and other tasks as necessary. Every week can be different as we travel to the school or facility where we will be working, performing a range of tasks. Most work sites are located nearby and we return to the shop every day. Some projects require out of town stays and returning after completion or at the end of each week. Summers can be very busy as this is the time when schools shut down and flooring projects can be completed.

Qualifications

Carpentry experience is a plus, but not necessary. We work side by side to teach you the skills you need to perform this job. Anyone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in their work and would like to be a part of a crew that sees a project through to completion would be a great candidate for this position. Candidates must possess good leadership qualities. We will work with your strengths and interests to bring added other responsibilities to your position in the company.
