Shipping ClerkA growing company in the North Canton area is looking for experienced shipping clerks to work in their busy warehouse. This is a temp to hire position with a ton of opportunity.Job DescriptionWorks effectively and efficiently in a warehouse environment to receive and schedule shipping and freight operations, including developing a working knowledge of warehouse organization and creating proper and detailed shipping documentation. Works with shipping and warehouse team to ensure customer satisfaction.1st Shift position available, 6am to 6pm Monday to Friday2nd Shift position available 10am to 10 pm Monday to FridayShipping Clerk Job Duties:Efficiently works within a busy dispatch departmentEffectively uses RF scanners to locate and gather stockUse tow motor to gather stockCreates shipping labels and handles shipping information with UPS, FedEx, or WorldShip programsKeeps organized shipping records, including statements of origin, shipping costs, products shipped, and receipt datesKeeps track of inventory by cycle countingQualificationsExperience cycle countingPrevious Shipping and Receiving ExperienceExperience on a sit down tow motorExperience using FedEx/UPS/WorldShip label making programsKnowledge of RF ScannersAdditional InformationRegularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hearRegularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlOccasionally required to sit and climb or balanceSpecific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
