Description

Hiring landscape workers to be generally responsible for the maintenance of clients’ lawns and planted beds. Specific responsibilities will include:

· Mowing and edging lawns

· Weeding and mulching beds and individual plantings

· Planting and pruning shrubs and trees

· Operating and maintaining landscaping equipment

· Reporting needed supplies or equipment repairs

· Referring client inquiries

· Preparing outdoor areas for various weather conditions

• Covering furniture with tarps
• Securing loose items
• Wrapping shrubs and young trees

· Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Pay

· $25-$30/hour, dependent upon experience (3 years minimum)

· Experience driving light-duty trucks with trailers

· Weekday and weekend availability

· Must have at least three years’ experience in mowing, mulching, pruning, weeding, clean-ups, and general property maintenance

Working Conditions and Physical Effort

· Exposure to heat, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises

· Pushing, pulling, and lifting objects over 50 pounds

· Exposure to hazards or risks requiring observance of basic safety precautions

· On your feet for long periods of time
