Whether you will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment or troubleshooting technical obstacles, at CMC, you'll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll Do:Performs necessary maintenance tasks including repair or replacement of damaged parts, adjustments and calibration procedures, assemble, install, test and execute preventative maintenance tasks on various forms of manufacturing equipmentKeeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs when neededUse SAP maintenance module in the execution of duties, utilize computers to acquire information, documentation, account for time and corrective actionsFabricates parts by using machine shop instruments and equipmentConserves maintenance resources by efficiently using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job resultsExercise judgment to determine appropriate course of action and prepare business recommendationsInterpret blueprints, drawings, and schematicsParticipate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety CulturePerform additional duties as neededWhat You'll Need:Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role requiredExperience with Allen Bradley, ABB, AC/DC motor and/or other PLC troubleshootingStrong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work with a variety of hand and power toolsAbility to communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and business leadershipAble to perform maintenance/repair at heights or adverse conditions safely including adhering to and following LOTO proceduresMust be able to stand for significant lengths of time in an industrial environment with exposure to all elements of weatherDemonstrate dependability in attendance, work completions, and flexibility to meet business needsHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is requiredWe are CMC, a Fortune 500® company at the leading edge of our industry.
