Oculus Rehab invites passionate licensed Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) to thrive in a 13-week contract in a skilled-nursing facility in either Roanoke or Lynchburg, VA ! Whether you are a local therapist or a traveler, we have flexible options to fit your needs.
The Speech Language Pathologist will provide specialized speech and language therapy to elderly patients in a skilled nursing facility. This role focuses on assessing and treating speech, language, and cognitive-communication disorders, ensuring personalized care tailored to the unique needs of each patient.
Assignment Details:
- Skilled Nursing Facility
- Full-time schedule for a 13-week contract
- $2,200–$2,560 gross weekly pay (W-2 or 1099 option)
- Inclusive of $1,064 non-taxable stipend for qualified travelers
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Weekly direct deposit
- Sign-on bonus available
- Referral bonus
Qualifications:
- State Speech Language Pathology License
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in speech therapy and cognitive-communication disorder treatment
- Strong documentation and collaboration skills
- Empathy and sensitivity towards elderly patients
- Available for full 13-week assignment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
