Executive Assistant

Banesco USA is seeking an Executive Assistant for our Executive Department.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Administrative Support: Responsible for assisting the President & CEO in all day-to-day administrative functions of the bank.
  • Documentation: Manages and monitors executive documents, correspondence, and digital communication.
  • Scheduling: Coordinates the President's calendar, organizes agendas, and handles event registrations and RSVPs.
  • Corporate Governance: Partners with Corporate Governance in the elaboration and coordination of the Annual Committee and Board calendars.
  • Communication: Serves as a liaison between the executive office and staff, customers, regulators, and Banesco Group companies.
  • Event Planning: Organizes annual board and committee meetings, ensuring all presentation materials are prepared for dual-platform delivery.
  • Travel & Expenses: Arranges travel and accommodations for the CEO, Board members, and staff; prepares and maintains accurate expense reports.
  • Financial Review: Performs monthly reconciliations of petty cash and corporate credit cards, and reviews invoices prior to approval.
  • Compliance & Development: Ensure 100% completion of mandated annual training programs and professional development certifications.
  • Regulatory Alignment: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of banking regulations by consistently completing all assigned annual training.
  • Execute additional responsibilities and special projects as directed by executive leadership.
  • Responsible for completing annual training program assigned other than Consumer Compliance,
  • Performs other functions and/or duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • Education: Associate's degree in Business Administration preferred or equivalent experience.Experience: Three (3) years of experience as an administrative assistant for C-Level Executives.
  • Advance computer skills including but not limited to proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multi-task, with strong organization, time-management, and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong customer service skills, ensuring the satisfaction of both internal and external customers.
  • Basic knowledge of related State and Federal banking compliance regulations and operational policies.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties.
