Associate Attorney - Mass Tort

Associate Attorney Washington, D.C.

An established and nationally recognized plaintiffs' firm with over 25 years in practice is seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of litigation experience to join their Washington, D.C. team onsite. This role is an opportunity for a sharp, detail-oriented attorney to work on high-stakes mass tort cases, representing injured individuals and families in complex, large-scale litigation matters.

Offer: Salary range: $85,000-$125,000, contingent on experience Performance-based bonus potential Full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision 401(k) with employer match Trial prep exposure and significant client interaction

Qualifications: 1-5+ years of plaintiff-side litigation experience (personal injury or mass tort preferred) Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical ability Demonstrated legal writing and research skills Active bar admission in at least one of the following: D.C., Maryland, or Virginia Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Responsibilities: Support active mass tort caseloads from intake through litigation Draft pleadings, discovery requests and responses, and settlement demands Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and medical providers Assist senior attorneys with trial preparation, depositions, and case strategy Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and motion practice support
