Director of Visual Arts EducationFull Time
Salary Range:$58,000.00 To $65,000.00 Annually

This is not a traditional teaching role. As a Director of Education, you will lead a team of dedicated art teachers —building a team, shaping culture, and creating exceptional experiences for students and families.
What you’ll do:Teach Art & Digital Design
Lead weekly art and digital design classes, as well as summer camps, working across a range of ages, media, and skill levels.Support Student Growth
Help students thrive in the studio and digital lab by engaging closely with them and their teachers—observing progress, celebrating milestones, and identifying opportunities for growth.Build Meaningful Relationships
Stay connected with students and families through thoughtful check-ins, clear communication about progress,flexible makeup scheduling, and conversations about next steps in their creative journey.Bring the Curriculum to Life
Ensure lessons are prepared and delivered with care, following the One River Method while contributing creatively to lesson development and evolution.Care for the Studio
Keep the studio and digital lab running beautifully by ordering and restocking supplies, organizing materials and student work, and maintaining a clean, welcoming creative environment.Create & Celebrate Exhibitions
Collect, curate, and install student and community exhibitions, and help bring openings, receptions, and special events to life.
