Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, every other weekend required (approximately 6 weekend shifts per contract), holiday coverage as needed

Highlights:

• 73-bed Emergency Department with approximately 200 visits per day
• Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center serving all age groups from neonatal through geriatric
• Typical patient ratio of 1:4, may adjust to 1:5 based on acuity and staffing
• Charting system: Cerner FirstNet
• May float within scope to support ED overflow patients on 3 West
• Up to 2 pre-approved time-off requests permitted per contract

Requirements:

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Level II trauma experience required (hard requirement)
• Level I trauma experience preferred
• Combined adult and pediatric Emergency Department experience required; adult-only ED experience will not be accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
• Prophecy Relias Advanced EKG assessment certification required
• Annual stroke education requirements must be completed
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Strong experience with dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, phlebotomy, IV management, IV vasopressors, CVA care, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patient care, and ABG interpretation
• Triage experience preferred
