Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and mental health screenings to identify students' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Offer individual counseling sessions and crisis intervention to students dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and stress management.

• Organize and lead therapy groups that focus on specific themes such as coping strategies, self-esteem enhancement, and peer relationship management.

• Collaborate with campus stakeholders, including faculty members, academic advisors, and student organizations, to create a cohesive support system for students.

• Participate in outreach programs, including mental health awareness campaigns in collaboration with university initiatives.

• Maintain clear, organized, and confidential case records, adhering to ethical standards and privacy regulations.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) , Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) , or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) .

• A minimum of a Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• A deep understanding of the unique mental health concerns typical among college students.

• Demonstrated proficiency in communicating effectively with students and building rapport across diverse populations.

• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices and brief intervention strategies suited for a university setting.
