Customer Care Manager - State Farm Agent Team Member

Receptionist / Customer Care Representative

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and resourceful Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our customers. This is a hands-on customer service role—not simply answering and transferring calls.

Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls and resolve routine customer needs
• Process payments and assist with billing questions
• Send ID cards, policy documents, and complete routine policy changes
• Assist with vehicle changes, lienholder updates, Drive Safe & Save, and other service requests
• Document conversations and follow up as needed
• Research questions before escalating to another team member
• Identify opportunities to help customers with additional insurance needs
• Pivot conversations to other lines of insurance when appropriate and offer to connect customers with the sales team
• Help generate sales appointments, referrals, and Google reviews

Licensing & Sales:

• Property & Casualty license required or must be obtained within the required timeframe
• Life & Health licensing is a plus
• This is primarily a customer service/reception role, but there are sales-related expectations
• You will be expected to recognize opportunities during customer conversations, ask appropriate questions, pivot to additional products, and offer a warm transfer or appointment with the sales team
• Licensed team members may also assist with quotes or sales within their training and authority

What We're Looking For:

• State Farm experience strongly preferred
• Strong computer and technology skills
• Excellent phone and customer service skills
• Comfortable starting conversations about additional insurance needs
• Resourceful, organized, accurate, and dependable
• Able to learn quickly, retain training, and take ownership

Success means resolving customer needs independently, providing excellent service, and consistently identifying opportunities to deepen customer relationships and support agency growth.

Compensation: $36,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
