Electro Mechanical TechnicianElectro Mechanical Technician| Macon, Georgia | Hiring ImmediatelyCompensation: Competitive starting pay range of $34.94-$40.75 per hour, paid weeklyAvailable Shift: 12-hour 07:00 PM -07:00 AM 3-2-2-3TEXT TO APPLY NUMBER: 928-668-6539 (928-NOVOLEX)Job purpose: The Electro Mechanic role is responsible for maintaining and responding to trouble calls for repairs on manufacturing equipment; including electrical and mechanical systems.Essential Duties and responsibilities The primary job duties and responsibilities are:Repair, modify and maintain manufacturing equipment to insure products are in specification.Fabricates parts not commercially available,Troubleshoots electric controls, motor control centers and programmable logic controls.Communicates on all project needs with Maintenance & Production Supervisors/Managers.Assist (as required) in the training & skill up grading of other maintenance and production personnelMaintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision.Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards.Maintains excellent safety record.Maintains excellent attendance record.Performs other duties as assigned.Experience: Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience. At least five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment; including successful completion of jobs or similar activities. At least three (3) years of experience in mechanics. At least three (3) years of experience in controls. Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures. Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS); Maintenance Connection experience preferred.Skills: An individual must have the following skills in the Electro Mechanic position:Interpersonal skills.Strong sense of urgency.Must have good written and verbal communication skillsIntermediate computer knowledge.Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.PLC ladder diagram reading.Full understanding of all levels of wiring diagrams.Physical requirements: This position is located in a manufacturing location.
