Job Title

RN – Operating Room | Neurovascular Moderate Sedation

Location

New York, NY

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Expected 36–40 hours/week | 10- or 12-hour shifts | On-call required for weekends and nights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide moderate sedation in a fast-paced procedural area for patients undergoing preventative and interventional stroke care
• Administer and independently monitor conscious sedation throughout intraoperative procedures
• Closely monitor patients' cardiac and physical status during procedures
• Collaborate with the physician to ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy
• Perform circulating duties when not providing moderate sedation

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State RN License (NY license only)
• Moderate Sedation experience required
• Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required
• Telemetry competency required
• BLS certification – American Heart Association only
• ACLS certification – American Heart Association only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum two (2) years of Operating Room experience
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma center
