Immediate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) contract opportunities with our skilled nursing facility in Highland, NY. LPNs with experience administering medications preferred.

Pay Rate: $40.00/hr

Available Work Schedules:

• Day Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm)
• Evening Shift (3:00pm - 11:30pm)
• Night Shift (11:00pm - 7:30am)

Job Details

• Provides nursing care to the residents on the nursing unit within the framework of the medical and nursing care plan, the policies of the Department and, under the supervision of a professional nurse.
• Monitors the residents closely to identify response to treatments, medication and/or changes in health status.
• Provides treatments to the residents according to the medical and nursing care plan and consistent with the policies of the Department.
• Prepares and dispenses medication to the residents according to the medical plan of care and consistent with the policies of the Department.
• Directly assists with the resident's activities of daily living, including direct care, observation of status and changes and supervision of non-professional staff.

Qualifications

• Valid LPN License
• 2+ years of LPN experience working in a LTC/SNF required (must have 2 year experience worked in last 5 years)
• One year of long term care experience preferred
