About the Position

Job Title: Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: OR Tech / Surgical Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Willingness to take up to 5 call shifts per month Availability for weekend call shifts 2 years of experience in relevant specialties On-call required Description: The Surgical Tech will support the surgical team during procedures. The role includes preparing the operating room and ensuring the availability of necessary instruments and supplies. Assist in maintaining a sterile environment and managing instruments during surgery. Experience in various specialties is preferred including Orthopedics, General, Neuro, Thoracic, Vascular, GYN, Urology, and Robotics. Ability to adhere to safety protocols and procedures is essential. Must demonstrate proficiency in handling surgical instruments and equipment. Willingness to float to other facilities may be required. The position requires the ability to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
