What You'll Do

• Operate portable digital (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment to perform diagnostic X-rays in various healthcare facilities.
• Ensure high-quality, clinically diagnostic images for physicians' interpretation.
• Unload, transport, and set up portable X-ray devices at client sites.
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to cardiologists.
• Maintain all radiography and EKG equipment, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, management, and healthcare staff.
• Manage paperwork, billing documents, and digital records daily.
• Provide courteous, professional interactions with patients and healthcare providers.

What You Need

• Valid state radiologic technologist license (reimbursement after 90 days)
• Prior experience performing portable X-ray exams and EKGs (preferred)
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly, with accommodations as needed
• Strong communication and technical skills
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to various facility locations

About the Assignment This position involves providing mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other outpatient sites across Sacramento. You will work independently with a supportive team, utilizing state-of-the-art digital radiography equipment, ensuring accurate imaging that aids in patient diagnosis and care.
