Job Description

NOW HIRING — B-LEVEL AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

Mopar / Jeep Experience Preferred

Globex Performance | Toms River, NJ

Globex Performance is looking for an experienced B-Level Automotive Technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems, and wants to continue growing their career.

Since 2009, we've specialized in Jeeps, trucks, and off-road vehicles. From routine maintenance and mechanical repairs to suspension upgrades, steering systems, drivetrain work, and custom builds, our shop offers a variety of work that goes beyond the typical general repair environment.

We're looking for someone with a strong mechanical background, preferably with experience working on Jeep, Dodge, Ram, and Chrysler vehicles.

We don't expect you to know everything. We do expect you to have the experience to work independently, take ownership of your repairs, and care about getting the job done right.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As a B-Level Technician, you'll handle a variety of mechanical repairs and vehicle upgrades while working alongside an experienced team.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnosing and repairing steering, suspension, brake, and drivetrain concerns.

• Performing general automotive repairs and preventative maintenance.

• Troubleshooting mechanical issues and identifying their root causes.

• Performing axle repairs, differential work, and regearing.

• Installing suspension systems, steering components, and vehicle upgrades.

• Performing thorough vehicle inspections and accurately documenting findings.

• Using service information and proper repair procedures to complete work correctly.

• Communicating repair findings and recommendations with our service advisors.

• Verifying completed repairs and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

• Keeping your tools and workspace clean, organized, and safe.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 3+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred.

• Experience with Jeep, Dodge, Ram, or Chrysler vehicles strongly preferred.

• Ability to perform common mechanical repairs independently.

• Solid understanding of steering, suspension, brake, and drivetrain systems.

• Experience diagnosing mechanical issues rather than simply replacing parts.

• Comfortable using diagnostic equipment, repair information, and service procedures.

• Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality.

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.

• Willingness to learn new procedures and continue developing technical skills.

• Dependable, accountable, and comfortable working as part of a team.

• Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate customer vehicles.

• Must have your own basic professional automotive tools.

ASE certifications and previous dealership experience are a plus, but not required.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Competitive compensation based on experience and ability.

• Health benefits included.

• Full-time, Monday–Friday schedule.

• No weekends required.

• Opportunity to work on Jeeps, trucks, and specialty off-road vehicles.

• Exposure to custom suspension, steering, axle, and drivetrain work.

• Opportunities for continued training and career development.

• A professional team that values quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
