No C2C or 3rd Parties Summary The Ash Group is hiring a Subcontract Administrator III (24442) for our client, an innovative aerospace company developing reliable and cost-effective technologies for commercial spaceflight. This is a 6-month contract working in Kent, WA or Merritt Island, Melbourne, Orlando FL (Onsite) and offering a pay rate of $83 per hour based on skillset. Duration: 6-month contract The role oversees the full procurement lifecycle for new product integration, ensuring timely delivery of materials and components in a high‑pressure aerospace environment. It requires strong negotiation, tracking, and supplier relationship skills to support integrated product teams. Key Responsibilities Manage cradle‑to‑grave procurement activities, from sourcing to contract closure. Support new product integration by introducing components and suppliers to the supply base. Execute purchasing for hardware, components, materials, and services. Follow up and track open orders, supplier commitments, and delivery schedules. Serve as an embedded member of cross‑functional teams, representing supply chain and driving procurement strategy. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, managing performance and corrective actions. Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery to achieve best value while ensuring compliance. Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reporting throughout the procurement lifecycle. Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities within procurement processes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of progressive experience in subcontract administration, procurement, or purchasing. Aerospace industry experience is required. Demonstrated experience managing cradle‑to‑grave procurement. Proven ability to follow up, track, and drive supplier deliverables to closure. Experience working within cross‑functional teams (IPT environment). Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work onsite in Kent, WA or Florida. Must be a U.S. person as defined by applicable export control regulations. Preferred Skills Experience supporting new product integration or introduction within an SCM organization. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Costpoint. Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and aerospace supplier quality requirements.
