Security Officer Security Screener – East Brunswick, NJ – Part Time. Pay Rate: $19.21 / Hour. Job Schedule: Saturday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related screening procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Screen employees, visitors, packages, and personal belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client guidelines. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, solve problems, and report unusual activity through proper channels. Monitor entry and exit points, verify access permissions, and deter unauthorized access to shipping, receiving, and distribution areas. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for policy violations, operational concerns, and other unusual conditions. Minimum Requirements At least 2 years of security‑related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
