Here, you will make an impact by:Defining and communicating the product vision, strategy and roadmap for connected safety solutionsServing as the connective link between engineering, design, sales, marketing and executive stakeholders – keeping everyone aligned on priorities and goalsConducting market and customer analysis to deeply understand industry trends, competitor moves, and customer needsDeveloping and maintaining product roadmaps to prioritize development based on customer and business valueCreating clear, actionable product requirements to deliver customer valueTracking and analyzing performance indicators to ensure the product is delivering intended valueYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Eight (8) years of experience in product management in a private, public, government or military environment Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, marketing or related fieldComfort operating in ambiguity - this is a 0-to-1 environment within a larger organizationStrong strategic thinking to connect near decisions to the broader product and business visionExperience translating market and customer research into product decisionsWorking knowledge of industrial SaaS and/or connected (hardware-software) solutionsStrong stakeholder communication skillsExperience working with agile methodologiesData fluency to define and track KPIs/OKRs to measure product successWork location: Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.Travel: May include up to 10%Relocation: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being 3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially.
