I opened my agency in 1979 and began my career as a State Farm agent straight out of college. I attended USC, and over the years Ive built a small, close-knit team of three centered around strong relationships, reliability, and excellent customer service. Our agency has always been family-oriented, and that mindset carries into how we treat both our team and our customers. For our team, we offer a Simple IRA, health benefits, licensing reimbursement, and a strong focus on work-life balance. Team members receive two weeks of paid vacation along with paid holidays, allowing time to recharge while maintaining consistency and stability at work. Our office culture is positive, energetic, and supportive. We believe in doing the job well while also enjoying the process along the way. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
John Whitbord - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. - Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
