I opened my agency in 1979 and began my career as a State Farm agent straight out of college. I attended USC, and over the years Ive built a small, close-knit team of three centered around strong relationships, reliability, and excellent customer service. Our agency has always been family-oriented, and that mindset carries into how we treat both our team and our customers. For our team, we offer a Simple IRA, health benefits, licensing reimbursement, and a strong focus on work-life balance. Team members receive two weeks of paid vacation along with paid holidays, allowing time to recharge while maintaining consistency and stability at work. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
John Whitbord - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. - Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
