About the Position

Our client in Kansas is urgently seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician for a 30-day assignment. This role involves comprehensive coverage from 7 AM through 7 AM, with ongoing Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM shifts, plus required weeknight and 24-hour weekend call. The Physician will work in an established MFM clinic, covering inpatient service lines, and managing a mix of complex clinic appointments and inpatient consultations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work in an established Maternal Fetal Medicine clinic setting.
• Provide coverage for inpatient service lines at the hospital.
• Manage a diverse caseload including complex clinic appointments and inpatient consultations.
• Perform prenatal diagnostic procedures such as ultrasounds, amniocentesis, CVS, fetal echocardiography, and intrauterine procedures.
• Perform cerclage procedures.
• Participate in call coverage from 7 AM to 7 AM each day for most stretches, with rare overnight callback.
• Handle some weeknight call with very minimal callback, and 24-hour weekend call during specified periods.
