Salary: $150,000–$170,000

Responsibilities of the Assistant Controller:

• Supervise financial transactions and accounting operations across designated areas
• Prepare monthly and annual reconciliations and financial reports in compliance with GAAP and company policies
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, fixed assets, and financial data
• Implement and monitor internal accounting controls and audit documentation
• Prepare journal entries and ensure proper account reconciliations
• Assist in generating specialized financial reports and analyses
• Oversee payroll tax compliance, filings, and reporting
• Support internal and external audit requests and provide necessary documentation
• Participate in special projects, team development, and training initiatives
• Assist with accounts payable processes and proper transaction coding
• Provide technical accounting guidance to cross-functional teams
• Support development and enhancement of accounting policies and procedures

Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred
• 5+ years of supervisory experience
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar multi-entity accounting systems
