Patient Service/Front Desk Coordinator

About the role As a Patient Service Coordinator at MyEyeDr., you will provide personalized patient experiences through the coordination and management of our front desk during check in/out. No optical experience is required; training will be provided. The role reports to the Office General Manager and may require weekend and evening shifts. Wage Hourly wage range: $17.15 – $20.15, commensurate with experience and office location. You Will Provide patients with a personalized check in/out process that is timely, seamless, and positive. Become a subject matter expert in insurance plans to verify and educate patients on options during check in/out. Assist in appointment confirmations and patient outreach in partnership with doctor availability. Manage multiple phone lines, greet patients and walk‑ins, schedule appointments, and assist office staff as needed. Cross‑train to other office support roles such as Eyewear Consultants and Optometric Technicians when required. Collaborate with doctors and team members to provide a seamless patient experience. About You Experience in a front desk, reception, or customer‑facing role supporting administrative duties and clerical tasks. Organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks under pressure while providing best‑in‑class service to patients and staff. Flexible, nimble, and agile with the ability to wear multiple hats. Friendly, caring, patient‑centric, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Team player willing to collaborate to deliver the best patient experience. Computer savvy with excellent oral and written communication skills. Professional attitude and ability to problem‑solve and respond to patient service requests.
