Junior Accountant/Bookkeeper

Location: Austin, TX (Full-time, Onsite) Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant/Bookkeeperto handle our finance and accounting operations. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day financial tasks including data entry, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and financial reporting. This position requires accuracy, organization, and a willingness to learn. Key Responsibilities Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Process payroll preparation and ensure timely submission of related documentation. Maintain accurate financial records and perform routine data entry. Reconcile bank statements and vendor invoices. Prepare basic financial reports and summaries. Organize and maintain digital and physical financial files. Assist with expense tracking and categorization. Support the operations with administrative tasks and ad hoc projects. Use accounting software (e.g., "QuickBooks") to input and manage financial data. Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding payment status and documentation. Qualifications Experience in bookkeeping or accounting support. Understanding of accounting principles and financial processes. Familiarity with accounting software such as "QuickBooks" is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
