Job Title: CST/ORT Profession: CST/ORT Specialty: OR Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:00 - 16:30 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Certification is Mandatory Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: CVOR Experience Description: Certification is mandatory. This facility serves as a regional referral center for critical care services. It provides advanced surgical options, including open heart and interventional cardiology. Candidates must have excellent documentation skills. Strong ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area is essential. Good critical thinking skills are required. Advanced skills include performing large-bore IV starts and medication administration. Assisting with central lines and arterial lines is required. Candidates will be responsible for pre-operative patient care. Additional skills include assisting with patient transport to the surgical area. Positioning and skin prep for surgical procedures will be necessary. A required uniform will be provided. Please attach any specific guidelines and policies relevant to this position.
