Call Brad today – View phone number on click.appcast.io Apply in person Labor One Staffing 815 Shelia Ln Channelview, TX 77530 Summary: Read blueprints and program CNC machine Duties and responsibilities: Operate controls, load parts, and prove programs Inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements Interpret drawings, manuals, specification, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequences of operations and set up requirements Ensure production rates are met or exceeded Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly Perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment Stand at least 8 hours a day May perform other duties as assigned by management Lead 2 or 3 operators to ensure productivity and quality standards are met Qualifications: Minimum 5 years' experience preferred in set-up of CNC lathes and CNC vertical milling machines Experience with reading and editing G code will be expected Knowledge in use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments i.e., calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators, and scales Strong understanding in blueprint reading/ geometric tolerance interpretation Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machines Must be able to follow written and oral instructions Must be adaptable to changing environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabrication CNC programming a must Master Cam, Haas, Okuma, Mazak experience a plus Lift up-to 50 lbs. and be able to work around moving machinery Labor One is an Equal Opportunity Employer Labor One Staffing
