Breast Imaging Radiologist

This position offers the opportunity to practice comprehensive breast imaging within a high-volume academic and tertiary care environment. UF Health Shands features nationally ranked subspecialty programs, a comprehensive children's hospital, and a Level I Trauma Center. UF Health is also recognized as a premier National Medical Center for Team USA and is home to the only NCI-designated cancer center based at a public university in Florida. Clinical responsibilities include:

• Digital mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis
• Breast ultrasound
• Breast MRI
• Image-guided breast procedures, including:
• Tomosynthesis-guided biopsies
• Stereotactic biopsies
• Ultrasound-guided biopsies
• MRI-guided biopsies
• Teaching and mentoring radiology residents, fellows, and medical students through case readouts, conferences, and formal educational activities
• Participation in scholarly and academic activities

Expected Salary: $430,000-$530,000; commensurate with education and experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Hold an M.D. or D.O. degree
• Be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
• Be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Florida prior to employment

Preferred - Completion of a Breast Imaging fellowship is preferred, but not required.
