Engineer Site Support

We are seeking a skilled and autonomous Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team for a long-term freelance collaboration. In this role, you will manage, troubleshoot, and optimize our core infrastructure, ensuring high availability, robust security compliance, and seamless operational continuity. Role Details Position: Systems & Infrastructure Engineer (Freelance / Contract) Time Commitment: ~100 hours per month (Flexible schedule / Part-time) Experience Required: Minimum 4 years of proven experience in similar roles Compensation: $40 - $55 USD / hour (Depending on experience) Location: Internationale Parkway, Woodridge, IL Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Requirements Virtualization: Solid experience managing and configuring virtualized environments. Windows Ecosystem: Strong expertise in Windows Operating Systems for both workstations and servers. ITSM Tools: Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (specifically handling incident, change, and request management). Directory & Patch Management: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft WSUS. Networking & Security: Proven experience in the administration and troubleshooting of networks and firewalls. Data Transfer: Familiarity with professional file transfer software and secure data systems. Vulnerability Management: Practical awareness and experience in vulnerability identification, management, and remediation. Experience working with the Closed Loop Framework and its associated compliance requirements. Background or familiarity with infrastructure support within manufacturing or production operations environments.
