Automotive Digital Sales Manager — Close the Whole Deal Online
The Short Version

We're hiring a Digital Sales Manager who can take a customer from first click to signed contract to delivered vehicle — without that customer ever setting foot in our showroom.

Not a BDC manager who books appointments. Not an internet director who hands warm leads to the floor. We want someone who owns the deal end to end, remotely, and closes it.

Why This Role Exists

A growing share of our buyers don't want to come in. They want to shop at 10 p.m., get a real number, upload their documents from the couch, and have the car show up in their driveway. Most stores still treat that customer as an appointment to be set. We treat them as a sale to be made.

You'll be building and running that channel — and you'll have the desk authority to close a deal, not just to pass deals along.

What You'll Actually Do

• Work leads from first contact through funded deal: needs assessment, vehicle presentation, trade appraisal, payment presentation, credit, F&I, contracting, delivery
  
• Present numbers over video and screen share — full menu, term options, real transparency
  
• Appraise trades remotely using photo/video intake and condition interviews, and stand behind your numbers
  
• Take credit applications, structure and desk your own deals, and work lenders to get them bought
  
• Present and sell F&I products digitally — VSC, GAP, maintenance — with a compliant menu process
  
• Run e-contracting and e-signature start to finish, including out-of-state title, tax, and registration paperwork
  
• Coordinate home delivery and shipping, and handle the post-sale follow-up that turns one sale into three
  
• Own your response times, your pipeline hygiene in the CRM, and your closing ratio
  
• Help us refine the process — tools, templates, video scripts, follow-up cadences — as we scale the channel
  

What You Need to Have

• Proven remote closes. You've sold cars to people you never met in person, and you can walk us through how a recent one went from lead to delivery.
  
• Desking ability. You can structure a deal, work a payment grid, and hold gross without a manager standing behind you.
  
• F&I comfort. Even if you weren't the box, you know the products, the menu, and the compliance around them.
  
• Real digital retailing experience — tools like CarNow, Roadster, Modal, Gubagoo, Darwin, or comparable platforms.
  
• CRM fluency — VinSolutions, eLead, DriveCentric, or similar. You live in it.
  
• Camera presence. You're comfortable and persuasive on video, and you use it by default, not as a last resort.
  
• Compliance literacy — Red Flags, OFAC, Reg B and Reg Z, adverse action, e-signature requirements. Remote deals get scrutinized; you keep them clean.
  
• Urgency. Digital buyers are shopping three stores at once. Speed is the job.
  

Nice to Have

• Multi-state sales and titling experience
  
• Experience launching or scaling a digital retailing program from scratch
  
• Lender relationships, especially in subprime
  
• Bilingual
