A Security Officer Foot Patrol in Elkridge, MD will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as logistics and distribution. Position Details Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour Schedule: Friday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM; Saturday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures and policies and responding to emergencies when appropriate. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, document details, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, trailer yards, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points for employees, visitors, and delivery drivers, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, damaged gates, or other security concerns. Support loss prevention and operational continuity by observing freight movement, reporting policy violations or hazards, and maintaining detailed activity and incident reports. Minimum Requirements At least 21 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent. Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements may be required; a valid driver’s license will be required only for driving positions.
